Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education

Rawalpindi board of secondary and higher secondary education was established in 1977. Initially, its main building was located on 6th road, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi but in 2013 its principal office, which is performing active work was shifted into the newly constructed building at Morgah near Attock Refinery, Rawalpindi. Its main aim is to schedule the Matric (SSC) and intermediate (HSSC) exams and is also responsible to announce their results. Exams of SSC and HSSC education are most probably held in April and May, respectively. By the schedule, the result of the BISE Rawalpindi board is announced in September and October of their 9th, 10th/Matric, and 11th, 12th/ intermediate respectively. It is an independent autonomous body and has the power to its decisions. It is affiliated with the educational Ministry of Punjab. They take the standard exam and have a fair and transparent system of examinations. Students can also choose arts, science, engineering, and computer subjects according to their acknowledgment. Students can also download past papers on their relevant subjects from the official website of the BISE Rawalpindi Board which are very helpful during the preparation for the exam.

Its focus is to improve its district’s education and exams. There are two levels of exams conducted by the BISE Multan Board. These are the first and second levels. At the first level, the candidates prepare to take the written exam. At the second level, they prepare for the practical exams. After the declaration of the results by the commission, students can check the results on the official website of the board. The Rawalpindi Board of Education works as per the directions of the Punjab Government or the Punjab Ministry of Education.
